Well guys something special happened today at The Portal. We have reached 500 members! It's been a great journey with you guys one I hope to continue to 1000 members and beyond! When I first started this "experiment" it was only as a social extension to the SEGA forum, I knew and loved. But with the help of each and every member on The  Portal, it just took off and developed into a site bigger and better than I could have ever hoped for!

This site is all for you guys, the users, the gamers, and those who just want a place to hang out. Thanks for making The Conduit Portal such a great place to be!

I also have to thank the people who inspired me to make The Portal. High Voltage Software, thanks for not only making a great game, but for consistently keeping up to date with our site! Thanks to Tony Mecca, for coming in as often as you can and deal with 15+ fans all at once on a regular basis. Thanks to Josh Olson for helping us to our competitions and contests and helping us kick start our Podcast, Drudge Watch! Thanks to your entire studio! Of course, thanks to SEGA, if it wasn't for Julian (ClumsyOrchid) allowing me to host two Conduit Tournaments, I would have never been more involved in the community other than my banned hacker list!

So thanks to all of you who have contributed to the site becoming what it is and hope we continue along together into a great future!
