Layoffs Hit High Voltage Software

Posted by Noah Solis | Wednesday, August 4, 2010 | Category: , |

It's a sad day for the fans of High Voltage Software. Multiple sites across the web have confirmed that 25 members of HVS were let go today. I as well as others worry to as to who has been let go but we wish for all the best to those who go and say we thank you for all the work you donated to the games you helped develop.

The layoffs are credited to reconstruction within High Voltage. A company representative says the decision to trim its staff count was made based on “current production requirements and predictions of what is needed for the remainder of 2010.” The statement concluded that “We are sad to have to say goodbye to these employees and friends, but these changes are necessary to bring our organization to a healthy operational size.”

I hope all goes well with the folks at High Voltage Software. Know that you are always welcome at The Conduit Portal any time you wish to join us.

  6. Idk what the people did for HVS, but anyone that worked for them contributed in some way to the great company they are becoming. To you HVS, I tip my hate. :'(
