Poll: Are you ready for Wii2?
It seems as though Nintendo needs to rise out of the smoke first at the next generation of consoles to keep Microsoft, Sony, and even Apple behind in the gaming pack. Nintendo has yet to drop the price on Wii showing that the Big-N is still confident about their current console. Also the new 3DS is bound to release some time 2011, so why take the communities eyes off that with a new console. The Wii2 will have HD graphics and be able to play the same games and use same hard wear as the original Wii. Nintendo is also looking at the same tech. Microsoft used for Kinect, but will still use Wii motes at the same time. The expected release for it is 2012 at the earliest. 3rd party games have also had a hard time selling on the Wii, it is not the cash-cow developers hoped it would be. Odds are Nintendo is in not hurry to release any info on the progress or tech. they will be planning to use just yet.
What do you think about this????
interesting
Im Simok123 btw, im using my brothers account
all i have to say is that i love nintendo and all, but if these asians dont give us hardcore gamers what we want, i might have to switch to microsoft. the first big gaming company is screwing up its image... i hope that the wii turns out as good, if not better than xbox720(?) and PS4 (hardware, support from third party, games in general, etc.)

Finally! It's about time Nintendo came to the rescue of it's fans after 2 generations of being laughing stocks. Lets get this party started, yo! :D

Uh... this isn't an announcement. it's speculation and wish lists.
Damn, I just got my wii last year and now they're coming out with an hd version.
NOTE, there is a link at the top for the actual IGN article, it shows that is it just a speculation. The only announcement was that Nintendo has mentioned that it is going to happen one day. None time soon
I wonder what it does.
3d gaming is now coming...next thing you'll have pho9ne with 3d video conferencing capabilities hehehe
