SEGA: Mind over Muscle

Posted by LonelyCitizen | Thursday, January 20, 2011 | Category: |

Like a banshee screaming before it devours the flesh right off of its host, or a little child watching a new episode of Spongebob as the power goes out; all of these feelings are being expressed by the fans that can not be described into words, let alone euphemisms. And one of them, is the new figurine debate.

The Mr. Ford figurine (up)(right) (but not upright) has been seen bundled with the limited edition package, but only for Australia. Many gamers rage that this package is only in this area (with the exception of prized giveaways and whatever SEGA comes up with), but if you look at it in an economical standpoint, its a smart thing to do.
The majority of the Conduit fanbase has been generated by the United States, and European areas like the United Kingdom. SEGA has fans in these areas that they know will already be buying the game, so to spend the extra money for guaranteed purchases is extra money spent on their part, where if they were to concentrate their efforts on a specific area that hasnt got many fans, its worth gaining more popularity. Plus, after the release Im almost positive they will have some on either Ebay, or perhaps the SEGA stores themselves, but at this point one can only dream. SEGA is much smarter than we think, so I will leave with this. Moving to Australia isnt the option.... yet.
